Each event includes an OPEN AUDITION, where instructors identify dancers in each of their classes that stand out in technique, performance, and overall presentation.

  • Brandon GirouardBrandon is a highly in-demand international choreographer, teacher, dancer and talent manager. He resides as Guest Faculty at Broadway Dance Center NYC, Studio Harmonic in Paris, is faculty to many dance conservatories on Long Island, NY, and has worked with such noted choreographers as Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Robert LaFosse, Tiffany Mills, Gregory Hines, Brian Thomas, Debbi Dee, Frank Hatchett, Jared Grimes and Charles O. Anderson. Brandon was awarded “Most Promising Performer” by Art Stone Dance, featured in Dance Spirit magazine in October of 2003 and 2004, and awarded “Dance Teacher of the Month” and “Video of the Month” by Dance Teacher Magazine. Brandon served as Assistant Choreographer for Broadway Bares and Broadway in Cape Town South Africa and named co-choreographer/ director of the 2014 Special Olympics Opening Ceremonies with Shannon Lewis. Brandon is the Founder/Director of the Quest Intensive – The cutting-edge ‘in-studio’ classroom tour working with the industry’s biggest leading names in Broadway, Concert Tours, Professional Dance Companies, Talent Representation and Casting Directors.

  • Sam QuinnAn international dancer, teacher, adjudicator and choreographer, Sam was born and raised in Massachusetts. He received his early training at the Charlotte Klein Dance Centers and later went on to receive his BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona. While studying, Sam performed works by legendary Broadway choreographers Ann Reinking and Gary Chryst, as well as Larry Keigwin and George Balanchine (Rubies, Allegro Brillante) to name a few. Sam went on to dance with River North Dance Chicago as a season apprentice post-graduation and was on faculty at the renowned Gus Giordano Dance School in downtown Chicago. Sam has performed with the world famous Radio City Rockettes in the Christmas Spectacular Shine tour, and most recently traveled the world with Rasta Thomas' Bad Boys of Dance in Romeo and Juliet where he had the privilege of performing in London, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland and Germany. His travels also allowed him to perform in industrials in St. Petersburg, Russia with Bad Boys of Ballet and as a semifinalist on the hit show America's Got Talent; founded by Adrienne Canterna. Sam's career extends to TV and major motion pictures including The Following on FX, and Warner Bros' The Intern starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. His choreography has won numerous awards at competition including Teen Miss and Miss Dance of New England. Sam is a member of the Miss America Organization and has served as associate choreographer, and judge for many local and state wide pageants including choreographer for Miss Arizona 2012 Piper Stoeckel. Sam is a member of Dance Masters of America Chapter 5 New England and loves to inspire the next generation of dancers and artists through his passion of dance.
  • Kevyn JonesBorn in Alaska, Kevyn is a sought after performer in his community. He got his start dancing for the Aberdeen High School dance team, winning State and National titles. After graduating he was signed as a dancer and choreographer to One Way Entertainment. Jones danced on the Believe Tour in Baltimore City, the Heritage Day Parade in Washington D.C., and the Scream 5 Tour. He has opened for the Temptations as well as Regina Bell and appeared in Step Up 2. After choreographing the opening show for R&B singer Mario at LOVE Night Club in Washington D.C. Jones appeared in the movie Step Up 3D, as well as television and video performances including: TV Pilot episode “Gotham”(Fox TV), “SK Energy Drink”(commercial for 50 Cent), “Hard Energy Drink”(commercial), and Caspa Narks “Fitted 2 Da Side, (music video). In September 2013, Kevyn brought home the Bronze Medal for the USA at the World Dance Sport Federation Hip Hop Championship in Kaohsiung Taipei, China. Kevyn is currently on staff with several competition studios in the Mid-Atlantic states.
  • Jason MacdonaldA Orlando native, began his dance training with Melissa Stokes and later with Alberto Alonso, Sonia Calero, and Alora Haynes at Santa Fe College. He graduated with a B.F.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University. He has performed with the New York City Opera and Alabama Ballet Company under Artistic Director, Wes Chapman. Ballet repertoire includes Cinderella, Don Quixote, Firebird, and George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker and Serenade. Other performance credits include numerous theater projects and Beyonce' backup dancer. Jason joined Parsons Contemporary Dance Company in August 2010 and is on staff at Broadway Dance Center in NYC.
  • Todd ShanksTodd Shanks has been featured in Dance, Dance Spirit, Dance Studio Life, Dance Teacher and Dancer Magazines. As a performer Todd has danced in music videos, commercials, industrials and television programs including, “The Electric Company”, Kimberly Clark, “The View”, Volvo, Ford Motors, Race for the Cure, Wrigley’s, Paramount Pictures, “Good Day NY”, Lance Armstrong Foundation, Pilsen Beer, the United Way, UFO Jeans, 1010 WINS, Hope and Heroes, and the Lyme Disease Foundation. On stage he has performed with Synthesis Dance Project, Jette Performance Company, The Westchester Philharmonic, SDCF Dance Break, and the 2006 Miss Florida Pageant. His choreography was seen in a commercial for BIC "Soleil" Razors and on ice for the opening number of “Stars, Stripes and Skates” staring 3- time National ice skating champion Johnny Weir. His choreography has also been featured on “The View”, ABC Nightly News, The MSG Network, NY1, CW 11, and at NYC’s Carnival, Steps on Broadway’s Faculty in Performance, Dean College: 50 Years of Gold, Yankee FanFest and “The Game is in Us” (a Nike spec commercial). Todd was on Faculty at Steps on Broadway in NYC for over a decade. He has been a guest teacher at the University of Florida, Boston University, Skidmore College, ACDFA New England, the Ailey Extension, Ballet Hispanico, Jeannette Neill Dance Studio, Dance Masters of America, Dance New Amsterdam, Florida Dance Masters and many private dance studios throughout the United States. He is currently an artist in residence at Dean College.
