Title winners selected at each regional event will compete for the Headliners Title. In addition, any Broadway Level soloist who scored a High Gold or an Elite Gold at a regional event may also enter the National Title Championship as an open contestant.
An opening number will be choreographed that will include all contestants - costumes will be provided.
New to 2017: Contestants will participate in a ballet class. An evaluation of their work in this class will be included with each contestants' title routine scores to achieve final scores during the Title Championships.Registration
Classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop will be offered in two age divisions throughout Nationals by the judges and special guests. Age divisions include 12 & Under and 13 & Over. Placement of dancers is at the teachers' discretion.Sign Up Now
Live Audition & Workshop:
A free Audition Workshop will be offered to dancers ages 12 and over who sign up for Master Classes. Hosted by Lakey Wolff, CESD Talent Agency, the class will familiarize dancers with proper audition techniques and act as a live audition with three rounds of elimination.
During this process, several castings will take place, including:
Dancers who pass the third round will have headshots and slates sent to CESD Talent Agency for consideration.
Approximately 15-20 dancers will be selected as the 2017 Headliners Dancers and perform an opening routine at the Awards Gala.
A cash scholarship is awarded to the dancer who most successfully passes the audition workshop.
Dean College representatives will observe dancers for college scholarship selections.
Space in the Audition Workshop is limited. Dancers should indicate their desire to participate while signing up for Headliners Master Classes. A resume and headshot must be submitted to hospitality by 11am on Monday, July 3rd.Sign Up Now
2017 Headliners Dancers:
The 2017 Headliners Dancers will be selected during the Audition Workshop. Dancers who remain after the final round will have the opportunity to participate in a special routine to be performed at the Awards Gala.
Over $2,000,000 have been awarded so far! This year, up to $450,000 in College Scholarships to DEAN COLLEGE PALLADINO SCHOOL OF DANCE will be available at our National Championships to dancers ages 16 and over. Dancers must attend all Master Classes and the Audition Workshop for consideration.

Platinum Circle Dance Off:
All performances that achieve a score of 570 or higher (95+ average) qualify to be in the Platinum Circle Dance Off. The top 40 scores will then perform for additional cash awards totaling $5,000. Winners will be announced during the Awards Gala.
The final event of Nationals! This Academy Awards-style event includes dinner, dancing, special performances, and the announcement of overall and scholarship winners.
Meal options will include an adult plated entree (with salad, choice or chicken, pasta, or vegetarian/gluten-free pasta, and desert), a childrens plated entree for kids ages 3-12 (with a fruit cup, chicken fingers & french fries, and assorted cookies), and a cash bar with soft drinks and adult beverages.Sign Up Now
